Which dedicated server type do I need?

This is a great question, with many answers.

Let's keep it simple:

A step up from a virtual server:  Level 1.
The best bang for your buck:  Level 2.
Tons of data transfer and processing power:  Level 3.
Something reliable and awesome: all levels.

These are the most popular reasons for getting servers.

Here are a few geekier reasons:

Slower CPU with so-so bandwidth:  Level 1.
Great quad core processor with decent RAM and drive space:  Level 2.
Xeon quad core with DDR3 RAM and Terabyte space:  Level 3.
